1. Where does American Furniture Now ship?
We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States. At this time, we do not offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations.
2. How are orders shipped and delivered?
All orders are shipped through trusted carriers with careful packaging to protect your furniture in transit. We are currently using FedEx and have had great success. Delivery is made to your doorstep or the first dry area outside your home. If an inside delivery is desired, additional fees apply based on your location and level of service.
3. How long will it take to receive my order?
Our beds and nightstands are usually in-stock, so shipping can take place in most instances within 7–10 business days from the date your order is processed. Transit time varies by location, but we will send you tracking information once your order has shipped.
4. Do I need to assemble my furniture?
Cherry Shaker Bed: Yes, assembly is required for our beds. But we've made it really easy by including a set of detailed assembly instructions and a tool packet to ensure easy and secure setup. We're working on an assembly video and hope to have that uploaded to our website soon!

5. What tools are needed for assembly?
A rubber mallet may be helpful to secure the headboard to the legs. Other than that, no additional tools are required beyond what is included in your assembly kit. We recommend assembling your bed on a soft surface to protect the wood finish during setup and always use a soft cloth between your rubber mallet and the wood product to prevent dents.
6. What materials are used in American Furniture Now products?
Our furniture is crafted from solid American cherry hardwood, sustainably sourced and hand-finished to highlight the natural grain and color variations unique to each piece. We make our beds in "batches" to reduce the wood waste and ensure that our product is made in a way to best honor the wood.
7. What if my furniture arrives damaged?
If your order arrives with visible damage or missing parts, please contact our customer service department within 48 hours of delivery. Send a detailed description of the problem, and photos, too. We will work promptly to resolve the issue.
